Hello! I am the owner of Elite Steering Driving School. I am a special education teacher by trade, working with students of all disability categories. The diverse teaching methods required in this profession have been instrumental in meeting unique student driver needs. I have provided driving instruction to both neurotypical students and students with disabilities.
Areas of Focus:
My focus with ESDS is Behind the Wheel Instructing and Online Classroom Curriculum Teacher.
Achievements/Accolades:
Jon received his Driver Education Instructor Certification through Minot State University.
Jon received the American Driver and Traffic Safety Association's Teacher of Excellence Award in 2017; 1 of 4 instructors in North America to receive the award in 2017.
Jon is currently the Public Information Officer for the North Dakota Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association and one of three Representatives for the Central Region of the Americation Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association.
